Skin pigmentation & Patience


In our last article, we discussed the relationship between inner organs health and the appearance of the skin. As we approach the extremely hot weather in South East Asia, it seems appropriate to examine some folk remedies for "liver spots." When treating patients by means of facial acupuncture, one of the perennial questions that pops up in the course of treatment has to do with the discoloration of the skin commonly known as liver spots, and whether one can make them "disappear."
The patient should always be informed that such an improvement in the appearance of the skin is entirely dependent upon good diet, less exposure under sun, quality sleep and good stress management. Part of this process of education includes instilling in patients a sense of responsibility for their lifestyle. Some patient might lack of patience, they might become too easy to get influenced by all kind of skin care products that proven fast result. At the end of the day, they will be very disappointed. 
Alex has a 46 years old lady from Kyrgyzstan who has a goal of treating her freckles, sagging and wrinkled face. From receiving 2 sessions of facial acupuncture in a week. Patience is very important. When Alex was a kid, my mum always teach us to be a patience person. Not just the Bible teach us to be patience, it is the training and process towards success! Imagine if an obese person can have strong will to exercise at least 3 times per week, and if he still have the patience to continue such an exercise program for 8 weeks.....he definitely can loss at least 3-5 kg!
