How are you! I am Alexander Ho. I am a Chinese Medicine physician & acupuncturist from Ho Modesty Consultancy.

I am a Chinese Medicine physician & acupuncturist from Ho Modesty Consultancy. I was born on 24 Dec 1979, Blood type is "O", I like reading very much. My hometown is Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. I graduated from The One Academy with a Diploma in Multimedia Design. Because I have a great interest in health & well-being field, I worked with Fitness First & True Fitness club for 4 years. At the same time, I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture from  KL Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. For about 6 to 7 years of works and studies life, I finally become a  Chinese Medicine physician & acupuncturist.

It wasn't easy for me to manage my career while taking Chinese Medicine course at the same time. Although I always busy, but I feel glad for using my time wisely on learning Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. After graduated, I used to work in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah for 1 year. It wasn't easy for me to persuade eldest people to be treated by me, because people in Sabah are more conservative and not easy to trust young physician like me. However, I managed to treat a few infertility patients by acupuncture in Sabah.

It was time for me to left my family again in year end of 2009. I decided to spend another 3 years to take another up grade course in my college. It was a difficult decision to look for a Chinese Medicine job in Kuala Lumpur, not only the paid is much lower than a sale promoter in shopping mall but also not many Chinese Medicine clinics like to hire a young physician like me. At that time, I was upset and I told myself," I never give up even if I have to depend on myself!" I was motivated by my father, he said," It's ok, your life will be meaningful when you really enjoy doing what you like! The process is much more important than the result!"

The first 2 years, I run a home based SOHO acupuncture office at Subang Jaya. Everyday is a war for me. From unstable income to all kind of problems in managing this small business, the beginning was really difficult, it took me tears and sweats to learn from mistakes. There were difficult time when I ordered too much unnecessary herbs and end up to owe too much money from suppliers, but I still want to thank God for those challenges, because it train me to become better in the future. I am happy to have a few sincere friends and classmates who always help me by giving advices, also patients who keep supporting me.

Now, I have an acupuncture office in Kelana Jaya. Thank for a few of church brothers and sisters who provided this office for me. We Christians believed God always bless us and we also must bless others! In order to increase patients' satisfaction, learning the new treatment skills has become my daily routine! Skin pigmentation & Patience

In our last article, we discussed the relationship between inner organs health and the appearance of the skin. As we approach the extremely hot weather in South East Asia, it seems appropriate to examine some folk remedies for "liver spots." When treating patients by means of facial acupuncture, one of the perennial questions that pops up in the course of treatment has to do with the discoloration of the skin commonly known as liver spots, and whether one can make them "disappear."
