The tips to get rid of dark spots! (Part 4 - What to eat and what to avoid)

In order to have a beautiful skin, you need Vitamins A, C and E.

Vitamin A help to protect our skin and mucosal. When we lack of Vitamin A, our skin become very dry and very easy to catch a cold. When consume too much vitamin A, it will remain n our body and caused liver abnormalities, central nervous system disorders, and lower bone mineral density that might increase osteoporosis risk.


Vitamin C have a well-know name of creating beautiful skin. Almost all women knew the function of Vitamin C for good skin. The most important thing is Vitamin C help to reduce Melanin, make the skin become fairer and help melasma / freckles fade off. Besides that, Vitamin C can Consolidate the vessel wall, it is a good new for those who have redness and fever cheeks, the enough consumption of Vitamin C will benefit the skin.


Vitamin E has a strong anti-aging effect, it prevent our cells being oxidized, it help to maintain the youthfulness of our cells. Nowadays, more result proven the total consumption of Vitamins A, C and E can increase the result of treating melasma and dark spots.


Below are some examples of the ACE foods, please study carefully and make sue you have adequate intake of those important Vitamins for your skins.


Foods rich with Vitamin A :
Liver, egg, cheese, eel fish, green leafy & yellow vegetables ( spinach, carrot, pumpkin, lettuce, leek etc).
Tips : Because Vitamin A is insoluble in water, normal cooking method will retain the Vitamin A in food. In another hand, Vitamin A is soluble in oil, preparation of dishes that come with oil will make better adsorption of Vitamin A.


Foods rich with Vitamin C :
There are many plant foods contain lots o Vitamin C, especially those deep green leafy vegetables, like spinach, green pepper, cauliflower, cabbage and so on. For fruits, such as strawberry, orange, lemon,persimmon etc. In Taro category, sweet potato and potato also contain high amount of Vitamin C.

Note : The disadvantage of Vitamin C is too easy to dissolve in water, intolerance with heat, air and alkaline substances, high temperature in cooking can also damage the structure of Vitamin C. However, the Vitamin C in sweet potato and potato have better heat resistance. These are some tips you need to know during cooking.


Foods rich with Vitamin E :
Sesame oil, corn oil, soy oil, wheat, brown rice, eel, embryo rice, Mackerel, Saury fish, Bonito fish, and other plant oil products.

Note : Vitamin E are very sensitive to Alkaline substance and UV light. Make sure you don't keep plant oil for long period of time, and always sealed for storage, because it will oxidized easily.

The tips to get rid of dark spots! (Part 3 - What to avoid)

Dear HS,


Thank for writing to me, I think many of us would have the same questions in their mind. Everyone wants to know how to eat healthy and what to avoid in order to create a better skin. Now, let me explain more and share some tips on foods that your doctors will not tell you.



I think many of us couldn't believe some foods can actually cause our skin allergic to sunlight. The over intake Solanine can increase the growth of dark spots when contact with a little bit of sunlight.


Citrus Fruits
Celery
Parsley

Fig


Foods that contain high level of Solanine are : citrus fruits (like lemon and lime), fig,parsley and celery. People love lemon and citrus fruits because they contain high Vitamin C that will help them to prevent dark spots or Melasma. But the truth is : the formation of dark spots become obvious if you consume foods with high level of Solanine before a sun bath.
The Chlorella natural supplement can become unstable
when keep for a long period of time.
Green-brown pickled vegetables

The Chlorella natural supplement can become unstable when keep for a long period of time. The ingredient of Chlorella produce a substance called Fruforbide that make our skin become very sensitive to sunlight and develop dark spots. Many years ago, there are cases of dermatitis reported which related by the consumption of expired Chlorella supplement. Besides that, the Green-brown pickled vegetables also contain Fruforbide that make your skin allergic to sunlight. Therefore, it will be a bad idea to intake those foods when you plan for skiing in sunny day.



The same thing goes to the drugs and medicine that cause dark spots. You must remember drugs that make your skin allergic to sunlight are Sedative (tranquilizer), Antibiotics, Sulfonamides, Diabetes drugs, Diuretic-based antihypertensive drug, Antihistamines etc. Some patients might develop dark spots on their face in a very short time when taking one of those drugs as mentioned above, some might take a few months to have it.
