The face massage can stimulate the face tissues and maintain the elasticity of the skin. To make it easy to understand, if you wiling to massage your face everyday, you will discovery amazing result on your face. In my studies, a proper technique of face massage can treat skin pigmentation, Melasma and even wrinkles. Therefore I recorded 3 video clips that demonstrated 3 types of face massage methods for forehead, eye area and cheek area. The first is by using Buffalo horn appliance ( I called it Buffalo horn massage spoon) to do the face massage; second, I will also teach you how to use your hands to replace the Buffalo horn massage spoon, cause not many people have this at home; third, I will include an video clip that teach acupressure face point massage and follow up with patting and slapping method. The Buffalo horn massage spoon is the folklore massage appliance from Southern Fujian Province, China since hundreds years ago. I learnt this from Acupuncture Professor Zhang Yung Shu from Quanzhou, Fujian, China during his visit to Malaysia in year 2006. The buffalo horn contain substances that give cooling blood and remove toxic effect for treating all kind of blood stagnant health problems. For years of studies, I discover the Buffalo horn can brighten up skin,get rid of dark spot and remove wrinkles. For the 3 methods that I mentioned, the patting or slapping face method is very important. You can combine this technique with the hand operating face massage or acupressure face point massage for best result. A normal face massage routine usually take 3~10 minutes, 2 to 3 times a day. If you have more time, sitting on the couch, enjoying your favourite TV show, why not spend more than 10 minutes for a face massage? Here come a breaking new! Alex was invited to an English women talk show called Bella on NTV 7, a Malaysia TV station. The Bella show covers various topics from women issues, lifestyle, fashion to family, relationship and etc. I guess this is the first time they invite an Acupuncturist on their talk show.
Before the show, the co-producer contacted Alex and told me about the episode 81 of Bella will talk about 2 topics, first block on "Acupuncture & Pregnancy" and second block on "Cosmetic Acupuncture & eyes". And after the interview, The host would like me to do a demo on a model that show cosmetic acupuncture on eyes area.
On 29th April 2013 (Monday), 11 am, Alex had created a historical moment in Malaysia Chinese Medicine industries , because this is a rare opportunity for an Acupuncturist to be interviewed on TV station. For many years of blood, sweat and tears, Alex never think of one day I will be interviewed on TV station.
Thank God for the best and unforgettable moment in my life, the whole theme on the Bella show is like custom designed just for me. My role is to share all my knowledge with the audiences from every corner of Malaysia, I want to tell them how to stay healthy and stay beautiful. Fame and fortune are not the things that come across to my mind, what I really enjoy doing is to help more people to achieve a quality life through Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
I want to say thank you to my parents for trusting me, now they feel so proud of me. Directions: Take 3 grams ( 3 teaspoon) of the herbal powder, add a few drop of water, mix into paste, then use a small brush to evenly applied the herbal paste to the face. Rise with water and wash with facial cleanser after 20 to 30 minutes. Use 2 to 3 times a week.

Alexander Ho is a FCPMDAM licensed, nationally board certified acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine physician in Malaysia. He graduated from both KL Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and HeiLongJiang University of Chinese Medicine (Harbin, China).
